The Radiation Oncology Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai is a four-year program in clinical radiation oncology that is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Its strength is based on a combination of superb patient-care opportunities, faculty sub-specialization with strength in multiple subsites, an expanding research program and the most advanced instrumentation. The Department of Radiation Oncology runs a centralized service that provides radiation oncology services to the hospital, Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute and surrounding community. Residents will receive a full complement of training in external beam radiation, including 3D conformal, intensity-modulated radiation therapy, stereotactic cranial and body radiation therapy, electrons, electronic brachytherapy and high-dose-rate brachytherapy.
