Special Features
The urology residency at Stony Brook University Hospital is five years with three residents a year. Residents graduate with surgical caseloads that significantly surpass national averages and given significant autonomy. Our program gives residents the requisite minimally-invasive training and also provides significant exposure to major open surgery. Our residents graduate confident in their surgical skills and about half pursue fellowships.
