Special Features
Our program utilizes an apprenticeship/mentor model of training in which individual residents work closely with a small group of engaged faculty. We emphasize early operative exposure for all R1's. Operative volumes for our Chief Residents are consistently in the 90th percentile nationally. Residents have priority access to our state-of-the-art simulation suite for convenient practice of essential surgical skills. Our residents practice on the same machines used for SAGES FES/FLS tests.
