Special Features
We are a clinically busy and diverse general surgery program located in beautiful Richmond, Virginia with a focus on resident education. We have a robust clinical curriculum paired with mature didactic and simulation curricula. Most residents choose to do one to two years of academic time after the PGY2 year. Our aim is to prepare our trainees well for the general surgery board exam so that they can go on to become competent leaders in their chosen fields.
