Special Features
We are accredited by the ACGME. Our program is based at Geisinger Wyoming Valley and Geisinger Community Medical Center and most of our surgical education takes place at those two facilities. Our residents train at Geisinger Medical Center Danville for rotations in Transplant Surgery and Pediatric Surgery at Janet Weiss Children's Hospital. Therefore, all of our clinical rotations are in the Geisinger System. We are affiliated with the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
