Our general surgery residency program provides residents meaningful responsibility that increases with level of academic training and professional growth. Throughout training, residents actively participate in patient care decisions and supervise junior residents and medical students. The 5-year curriculum provides fully developed objectives for general surgery training, offering residents opportunities to acquire a broad understanding of general surgical principles and foster technical skills.
