Special Features

Our program's goal is to prepare our residents to practice safe, competent surgical and medical care for patients in major areas of surgery. Our philosophy is that you will leave Jersey Shore University Medical Center with a foundation in general surgery that will prepare you for board certification and to practice as a general surgeon or pursue subspecialty training. We have faculty across 17 service lines who are board certified and experienced teachers who are the cornerstone of our program.
