This is a program that offers an excellent balance of exposure to a wide variety of surgeries and academic challenges that will provide the skills required for any general surgery practice or fellowship training. Beaumont Hospital-Farmington Hills is a Level 2 trauma center. The general surgery resident is an integral part of the trauma team. There is an on-site skills lab.
