Special Features
Residents are members of the SIEU Healthcare union (https://www.cirseiu.org). Generous benefits are outlined here: https://www.bmc.org/medical-professionals/graduate-medical-education-gm…. All residents engage in research and formal mentorship programs which include two research electives in PGY1 and 4. There are very few fellows so the faculty's primary focus is on resident education resulting in clinical excellence.
