Special Features
We are an academic affiliated, community hospital based residency program located just southwest of downtown Chicago. We are fully accredited by the Surgical Residency Review Committee and admit 3-4 residents per year to the program. The majority of our graduates go on to surgical fellowships with a minority going directly into private practice. Our program is capable of supporting either path with an elective research year offered if it fits your career plans.
