The general surgery residency at Northeast Georgia Medical Center is a five-year training program offering residents the instruction and clinical experience required to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to evaluate, diagnose, and manage surgical patients. Our residents participate in a broad spectrum of patient care and surgical cases needed to equip them with the skills to provide patients with superior, comprehensive care.
