We offer an academic program utilizing self-directed reading and conference group-learning. The resident and the faculty work towards achieving the goal of a fully trained competent surgeon. We intend for our graduates to be excellent clinicians and surgeons, committed to lifelong learning, and to the advancement of the surgical arts and sciences. Scholarly activity is heavily supported to allow for a fruitful clinical research experience.
