We are the first general surgery residency program established in northwest Florida. This program is critical in training surgeons to meet the region's needs. Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare is a 772 bed acute care hospital designed to meet the diverse health care needs of the Big Bend region encompassing 17 counties in north Florida and south Georgia.
