Special Features
Our goal is early exposure to the operating room and progressive autonomy from intern year to the chief resident year. As such, our PGY1 residents log between 150 to 200 cases on average in their first year of training and begin to perform operations such as laparoscopic appendectomies and cholecystectomies after they have mastered the simulator training.
