Special Features
Training includes clinical experience at the leading academic, pediatric, trauma and county hospitals in the WWAMI region. At-home call averages once every nine days, with post-call days free from clinical duty. Academic days are allocated for scholarly projects. Trainees receive an allowance in the sum of $7000, intended to offset the cost of living in Seattle. The allowance is included in the total compensation schedule which is paid out in each pay check throughout the academic year.
