Special Features
The general psychiatry residency training program in the department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences offers a four-year program. Its overall training objective is teaching residents the fundamentals of acute and long-term treatment of psychiatric patients. We offer training in the biological, psychological, behavioral, and socio-cultural aspects of psychiatry and strive to prepare residents for successful careers that emphasize clinical practice, scholarship, teaching and research.
