Special Features
Residents treat the underserved, including the uninsured at a residential unit for substances. They learn the DSM-5 cultural formulation with nuanced discussions due to the diversity of the faculty and residents. They do telepsychiatry and rotate at one of the nation's premier integrated care systems, which represent two of the biggest trends in healthcare today. Senior residents get to choose from electives such as interventional psychiatry, sleep medicine, and palliative care psychology.
