Special Features

Our program offers the benefit of both a not-for-profit hospital-based system and a state psychiatric hospital to provide a broader range of patient backgrounds and presentations. We are a metropolitan area with a rural catchment area, providing exposure to the psychosocial stressors associated with both populations, allowing residents a valuable experience regardless of their ultimate practice location after they graduate.
