UAMS PMR is a categorical program located at the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Arkansas. Learners focus on developing clinical skills and medical knowledge specific to physiatry, and gain an understanding of the role of self-reflection as a tool for professional and personal growth. They actively participate in quality improvement in patient care, develop insight to leading a multidisciplinary team, and practice professional behaviors and accountability to self, patients, society and profession.
