The pediatric gastroenterology program at the University of Florida is committed to training individuals to become independent and competent physicians capable of providing the highest level care. The program is designed for training in clinical care, teaching, research, and quality improvement. Shands is the only pediatric Level I trauma center in North Florida. UF hosts a broad range of NIH-funded biomedical scientists and clinical researchers who benefit from institutional support.
