Our program is affiliated with the University of Kansas, yet is a community-based program at Wesley Children's Hospital, a tertiary care facility with a large catchment area as the only children's hospital in the region. Residents graduate with a strong foundation of knowledge and clinical experience, allowing them to obtain prestigious fellowships, join private/group practice, or work in academic institutions, having received training in scholarly activity and advocacy to improve healthcare.
