The department of pathology at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the largest quaternary care center in central Ohio offering care in all subspecialties. The program is fully accredited in anatomic and clinical pathology. In the past, the department processed: 80,000 surgical specimens, 30,000 cytology specimens, 230 autopsies, over a million chemistry specimens. There are over 85 faculty members in multiple subspecialties involved in various aspects of resident education.
