SIU School of Medicine offers a well-rounded experience with excellent subspecialty trained faculty. There is great rapport between faculty and residents that allows for individual attention to each residents training. We are proud to offer a state-of-the-art surgical skills lab with a full, annual skills lab curriculum as well as a training series specifically designed for new residents as they begin their surgical skills training.
