We offer a supportive learning environment created by both the residents and the faculty. Orange County is the 6th largest county in the US, and UC Irvine is its only academic medical center. Thus, trainees work with an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse population. In addition to working at the UCI academic center, affiliates include a children's hospital, Kaiser Permanente, and a VA hospital, along with multiple volunteer faculty in private practices throughout Orange County.
