McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, orthopedic surgery residency program provides 5 years of accredited graduate medical education fulfilling the educational requirements of the ABOS and ACGME. The program has a designated 4 week block of simulation training for the PGY1 as well as cadaveric milestone simulation training for the PGY2-5. The didactic educational program is a 2 year rotating curriculum developed and presented by national and international experts in the orthopedic subspecialties.
