Special Features

This is a five-year program committed to providing an educational environment that produces academically and surgically excellent orthopaedic surgeons. Residents encounter a variety of practice settings as well as a high volume of surgical opportunities at the Royal Oak campus, other system hospitals, and ambulatory surgical centers. Outpatient clinical exposure is a combination of resident run clinics and attending private offices. Academics and research are emphasized.
