Program provides early hands-on experience and well-rounded clinical and didactic education. One-to-one resident-to-attending ratio in the OR with subspecialty trained and board certified faculty at a Level 1 trauma center and several other hospitals and clinics with exposure to academic and private practices. Large and underserved catchment area with an astonishing volume and variety of clinical cases and pathologies, ample research opportunities, and no fellowships.
