VCU offers many educational opportunities- simulation labs, FLS training, research mentoring, and board review opportunities. Residents are given the opportunity to attend regional/national conferences; away electives in the third year; and fourth year are given time to interview and study for boards. Resident well-being is supported with half-days off for personal needs. Our program supports a diverse city population and encourages opportunities to support the people and the community we serve.
