Special Features

Our program balances clinical training, a broad educational curriculum, and career development. Additional programs of focus include research, education, global health, and quality improvement. There is significant protected time for all residents to explore individual interests, and an NINDS R25 grant allows research-oriented residents to apply for more laboratory time. Following residency, 98% of our graduates complete at least one year of fellowship training in diverse fields.
