Special Features
Centers of Excellence include: PAH, ILD, CF, sleep, lung cancer, nontuberculous myocbacterial disease and ECMO. Fellows are trained in critical care ultrasonography/echocardiography and teach at national courses. They train in airway and ventilator management and attend a bioskills lab for advanced thoracic procedures, including PleuRx catheter, chest tube placement and percutaneous tracheostomy. We have an active interventional bronch service, and fellows become adept at EBUS.
