UNM has an active pulmonary hypertension program, Cystic Fibrosis program and interventional pulmonary program. Fellows have the opportunity to attend clinic in the UNM cancer center with the pulmonary attendings. Sleep medicine is also part of our division, and participates actively in fellow education. There is a sleep medicine fellowship as well. Both the VA and UNM serve as referral centers for the entire state, as well as west Texas, eastern Arizona and southern Colorado.
