Special Features
UT Health San Antonio offers excellent clinical training and opportunities for residents to explore individual interests. The program is on a 4+1 system, and residents rotate at a university and a VA hospital. Electives include global health, a teaching elective, and subspecialty clinical and research electives. Special tracks include an ultrasound certification track, a clinician educator track, a health equity track, an HIV Track and a PGY3 ambulatory track.
