Special Features
Our program offers a supportive academic educational environment taking excellent care of patients, especially the most vulnerable. Inpatient training is primarily at Austin's safety-net, tertiary-referral hospital, Dell Seton Medical Center with cardiology and electives also as Seton Medical Center Austin. Ambulatory training is located at either the Central Texas VA Outpatient Clinic or at CommUnityCare, an FQHC. Half our residents go on to practice gen med and other half to fellowship.
