Special Features
Residents complete either a conventional internal medicine residency or a primary care emphasis residency. The primary care emphasis resident has more choice rotations, education, and patient care opportunities in the primary care arena. Our IM team graduates not only as excellent care givers, but as physician leaders as they participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety, and practice management throughout the program.
