Tufts Internal Medicine Residency Program is a moderate size program which fosters a close-knit environment for learning at a tertiary care academic center. The hospital has a unique subspecialty team-based system which enhances education and connection with board-certified subspecialists. Tufts has multiple ICUs/CCUs with heart, kidney and liver transplant programs which provide residents with extensive training in the care of complex patients.
