JMH, the major teaching institution for University of Miami serves the diverse patient population of Miami-Dade County. Our program offers block scheduling and several career development pathways including global health, fellowship, medical education urban health, and healthcare administration. We have a dedicated resident wellness elective that includes mindfulness, nutrition, and exercise as part of our routine curriculum. Wellness is a priority and we have no 24 hour call.
