Our program utilizes the 4 + 1 block schedule. Residents are involved in Interdisciplinary committees for PSQI opportunities. Curriculum provides opportunities for residents to present M&M, board review, journal club, case presentations, RCA's & to attend tumor board, pulmonary,EKG, and noon topic-based lectures. The lack of Florida state income tax and the rapid growth in our area creates opportunities for new physician practices. We offered 6 weeks of paid FMLA over a three-year period.
