Special Features

The program is based in a community health center in close collaboration with Scripps hospitals. A culturally diverse, predominantly low income patient population with clinic sites in federally designated Medically Underserved Areas throughout San Diego and adjacent counties. Residents have the rewarding experience of caring for some of the county's most culturally diverse. The program will prepare residents for both those internists interested in working in community settings.
