The WVU Family Medicine Residency core aims are first, to train primary care physician leaders to be capable of participating in research & providing quality care to a diverse population throughout our rural state and beyond. Second, to optimize training through cutting edge technology in our rapidly evolving academic medical center. Finally, to provide a learning environment that promotes skills needed to incorporate "life" into a demanding career to prevent burnout and career dissatisfaction.
