Tacoma family medicine is a community-based UW affiliated program that provides a high quality, full-spectrum education with an emphasis on preparation for serving rural and urban under-resourced patients. We strive to provide excellent community-based patient care and comprehensive resident training in a supportive environment. Founded in 1978, TFM is a single accreditation program governed by the ACGME. In 2017, TFM received Osteopathic Recognition as well.
