Special Features

We are a full-spectrum Family Medicine training program based in scenic Asheville, North Carolina. Our community focused, not-for-profit residency program at MAHEC is set in the Blue Ridge Mountains and primarily serves urban and rural underserved populations of the Western NC region. In June of 2022, MAHEC became an FQHC look-alike, expanding our ability to offer the high quality care our patients have come to expect and upon which our community depends.
