The University of New Mexico family medicine residency was formed in 1973 and our residents receive strong full-spectrum training while working with nationally-recognized leaders in family medicine. Our mission continues to focus on training family medicine physicians that provide the highest quality, compassionate primary care with a particular focus on underserved populations and community health.
