Special Features

The program's purpose is to place well-trained family physicians in rural Kansas communities. Smoky Hill is a Rural-focused procedural medicine, obstetrics, emergency care, and full-spectrum outpatient experience residency. Our local hospital offers a world-class setting in a non-tertiary care environment, where residents work closely with both our core faculty and a close-knit community of local specialists to accomplish educational goals.
