Broward Health is one of the largest hospital districts in the country with over 52,000 admissions per year, Level 1 trauma center and Four (4) teaching hospitals. Family Medicine has its own unopposed adult inpatient service with family medicine attendings, university based outpatient continuity clinic with paid fulltime teaching faculty, multiple elective blocks for residents to pursue their own interest, dedicated research support staff, simulation laboratory and ultrasound curriculum.
