Special Features

The Merced FMRP trains resident physicians who will be able to provide comprehensive care and continuity of care to their patients in a caring and compassionate manner. Training to provide care in rural and under-served environments is a major tenet of our philosophy of residency education. We provide this training by giving residents an experience that fosters independent learning, strong faculty support, and a rich variety of experiences in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
