Special Features

We are much more than a residency. We are a community. We live in the marginalized communities we serve; our patients are our neighbors. Our residents do it all, from delivering babies to point of care ultrasound to advocacy on The Hill to international medicine, and everything in between. The program has four distinct campuses located in rural parts of the state (Centreville and Marion/Camden, Alabama), as well as an urban underserved part of the state (West End, Birmingham, Alabama).
