Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is a 900+ bed, tertiary care health care system which includes three hospitals, located minutes apart. We offer a balanced experience in both private practice and academia. As a resident in the CAMC EM Program you will be exposed to learning opportunities afforded only at major teaching institutions. This year, CAMC will experience over 100,000 emergency room visits. Yearly, our Trauma Center staff treats nearly 2,500 level I and II trauma patients.
