Kent Hospital is the second largest single-site hospital in Rhode Island, second busiest ED in Rhode Island with over 70,000 annual visits. Our ED has 43 beds plus CPR/trauma/behavioral health units. Physician-in-triage model. ACGME-accredited. 32 blocks of EM, dedicated pediatric EM, 2 blocks trauma (in Maryland), MICU, NICU and ortho rotations, ob/gyn emergencies, toxicology (in Boston) rotation. We offer 2 blocks of electives including overseas and wilderness medicine opportunities.
