Special Features

Our Residency Program builds resident competency and efficiency via hands-on instruction by leaders in Emergency Medicine to ensure success after residency in any practice environment with special emphasis on rural and community-based practice settings without easy availability of specialist back-up. We train our residents to provide the highest level of care to patients who not only have complex medical conditions but who also have significant socioeconomic barriers to accessing medical care.
