Special Features

UF EM is built on a diverse patient set, with one of the highest ED acuity rates nationwide. The clinical experience is combined with high fidelity SIM, deeply integrated into resident training. Trainees have EM critical care months, one of our most beloved and formative experiences. UF faculty are trained in CCM, GEM, EMS, SIM, ED Admin, Sports Med, Peds, Research, and US. This expertise is foundational to the residency and our 7 fellowships, where trainees develop excellence in EM.
